Let's Talk About It – The Double Chin Dilemma!
If I had a pound for every time a couple told me they were worried about their double chin, I’d probably have a wee holiday fund by now! It’s one of the most common things people stress over when it comes to their wedding photos, and honestly? I get it. We’ve all got that one thing we fixate on in pictures (I have mine too!). But here’s the truth – I can’t change that, my camera can’t change that… the only thing that can change is how you see yourself.

Candid Moments Are The Real Magic
When you look back on your wedding photos, what do you think will matter more – the fact that your chin looks a little softer in one shot, or the way your partner looked at you during your vows? The way your best mate nearly burst a lung laughing at a speech? The pure, unfiltered joy of the day? That is what wedding photography is really about – not perfection, but emotion.

No Stiff Poses, Just Natural You
I don’t do stiff, awkward posing where you feel like you’re trying to hold in a breath the entire time. Instead, I focus on movement, laughter, connection – the things that make you you. You’re not a mannequin, you’re a real human with real joy radiating from you on your wedding day, and that’s what makes for beautiful photos.

Seeing Yourself the Way Others See You
I know it’s hard to switch off that little voice in your head that picks apart your reflection, but let me ask you this – when was the last time you looked at a photo of a loved one and thought, “Ugh, their double chin!”? I’m guessing never. We don’t see the ‘flaws’ we think we have in others – we just see them. The same applies to you. When your partner, family, and friends look at your wedding photos, they won’t be seeing what you see in the mirror. They’ll be seeing love.

A Few Tips To Help You Relax in Front of the Camera
If you’re still feeling a little nervous, here are a few things that might help:
Trust Your Photographer – I’ve done this a lot, and I promise I know how to find the angles that feel most flattering while still keeping things natural.
Keep Moving – Walking, laughing, and interacting with your partner will always look better than standing stiffly, trying to pose.
Remember What Your Wedding Is About – It’s not about having model-perfect photos; it’s about capturing one of the best days of your life.
So, if you’ve been worrying about how you’ll look in your wedding photos, here’s your permission to let that go. Because you are beautiful, exactly as you are – and I can’t wait to capture that for you.

WHAT THEY SAID!
KIRSTY & NICOLA
“I truly loved all our photos and can honestly say that, due to my own insecurities about my appearance, I really didn’t expect that. But I now love that I love real, unfiltered photos of Farrell and I at such a special moment. And that’s thanks to you and your gift."
“As much as I love our pictures, my chin (to me anyway!) features in this one . It's not too bad though as I'm instantly standing in that spot again and remember how I felt, which I more important."
