My editing style is bright, clean, colourful and true to life, so your photos feel like *your* day, not a recreation of somebody else's Pinterest board. I don't chase fleeting trends or force your wedding into a particular aesthetic. I have my own signature style, and it's all about capturing the real, wonderful, completely unique story of you two.

Documentary wedding photography is about telling the story of your day as it naturally unfolds, without constantly stopping the action to pose everyone or manufacture moments that aren't really happening.

It's the nervous excitement before the ceremony, your favourite people absolutely losing it during the speeches, those little glances between you and the happy chaos on the dance floor. All the stuff that makes your wedding *yours*.

I'll absolutely help organise family photos and gently guide you during your couple portraits, but I'm not going to have you performing for the camera all day. My aim is to blend in with your family and friends, stay present in the moment and capture the genuine stuff as it happens. You enjoy the day. I'll tell the story.

First of all, you're in very good company! So many of my couples tell me they've never had professional photos taken before, feel awkward in front of a camera or genuinely have no idea what to do with their hands. And honestly? That's absolutely fine.

I'm not here to change how you look on camera. I'm here to help you feel more comfortable in front of it.

My approach is relaxed, modern and completely focused on your connection. I'll give you gentle direction when you need it, help you settle into the moment and encourage you to focus on each other rather than the camera. No stiff poses, no forced smiles and absolutely no expectation to become professional models overnight.

I've photographed couples all over Scotland who started out feeling exactly the same way. You don't need to know how to pose or suddenly become somebody you're not. Just be yourselves, have a wee bit of fun and trust me to take care of the rest.

Absolutely! I don't believe a wedding needs hundreds of guests, a grand venue or a jam-packed schedule to be worth remembering.

I'm just as happy photographing an intimate city chambers wedding, a relaxed little celebration in a garden or a micro-wedding with your favourite people as I am a big, full-day celebration.

In fact, there's something really special about those smaller weddings where every person there means the world to you. My approach stays the same whatever your plans look like: natural photographs, genuine moments and a relaxed experience that lets you enjoy every minute.
