Their ceremony was held by the brilliant humanist celebrant Yvonne Hannah, with Yvonne’s husband kindly stepping in as witness. They tied the knot in front of Lagangarbh Hut – the iconic wee white house sitting beside the River Coupall under the towering peak of Buachaille Etive Mòr. With the handfasting ribbons fluttering in the Highland breeze and a celebratory sip taken from a dram of whisky, the moment felt beautifully authentic and deeply personal.

After their vows, we wandered around the glen for portraits, keeping things chilled and fun‑loving. One of Kelly and Jake’s only requests was a playful shot of Jake giving Kelly a fireman’s lift – a thing they often do back home – and we of course made it happen. From laughing beside the riverbank to wee quiet moments soaking up the view, we captured images that felt totally like them.
