Linda & Phil’s wedding at Roulotte Retreat was the definition of dreamy. Think open skies, rolling meadows, and the kind of effortless love that makes my job as a photographer ridiculously easy. This day was all about nature, intimacy, and doing things their way – with a little help from the most majestic ring bearer I’ve ever seen (more on that in a sec).

The Venue – Roulotte Retreat’s Rustic Charm

If you’ve never been to Roulotte Retreat, let me paint you a picture: quirky handcrafted roulottes (French-style gypsy caravans) tucked away in the Scottish Borders countryside, surrounded by trees, wildflowers, and a whole lot of peaceful vibes. It’s the kind of place that feels straight out of a storybook, and for Linda & Phil, it was the perfect setting for their relaxed and intimate wedding.

The Ceremony – An Owl, Some Vows & a Whole Lot of Love

Imagine standing in the middle of a woodland clearing, dappled sunlight filtering through the trees, birds singing in the distance… and then, swooping in like an absolute legend, an owl delivering the rings. Yep. That happened. Linda & Phil kept things simple, saying their vows in nature’s embrace, surrounded by their closest people. It was pure magic – no fuss, no stress, just two people wildly in love.

The Couple’s Photos – Meadow Magic & A Brass Bath Finale

After the ceremony, we took a wander through golden fields of long grass, where these two just flowed together. No awkward posing, no forced smiles – just Linda & Phil being completely themselves, soaking up the sunshine and loving every second. We wandered between the roulottes, embracing the wild, bohemian feel of the place. And the grand finale? A brass roll-top bath. Yep, these two legends ended their shoot by hopping into a vintage tub in the middle of nature (keep scrolling for the pic). Because why not? It was the perfect way to wrap up such a beautifully unique day.
